Watercolor Class begins at 1:30 and ends at 3:30 PM. Register by calling 614-645-5863 Mindy Newman has taught at the Conservatory, Botanical Watercolors since 1989. The class welcomes back it's regulars but encourages beginners to try the class and teacher will bring supplies if you sign up early and let her know you will need them. Drawing is used and you will want to be able to draw a little bit. We can use the conservatory to draw the sketch for the painting and if you are up to the task, you can even paint in the conservatory. Outlines are offered with lists of art supplies, definitions of watercolor language, such as wet into wet, dry brush and vertical hold, but also step by step paintings to be completed by the students. Individual projects are encourage for those more advanced students. Come early and photograph some things to paint. It's going to be a wonderfully relaxing experience. We are very popular and have had the same class running for years! |
